CNC Machinist - 1st Shift gea
JOB DUTIES:
Safely perform all responsibilities with adherence to company policy
Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality standards are met
Read engineering documents such as prints, routing, and process instructions
Demonstrate ability to operate CNC lathes, mills, set-up and program
Proper handling of measurement tools
Perform side operations as required while CNC is running (e.g. deburring)
Maintain all equipment in good operating condition
Report discrepancies in job route times as soon as they are identified
Maintain accurate shop floor control system information
Fill out scrap report
Maintain safe and clean work area
Must have good attendance
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing
Ability to accurately use measuring devices, operate equipment and make adjustments as needed.
Attention to detail with a capacity to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards
Computer knowledge
Walk and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
Understanding of Mazatrol programming
