Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift ahh
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install seats, trim, and other components.
- Work on train car underframes, coupler and brake assembly/disassembly.
- Measure product dimensions using rulers.
- Follow Standard Work Instructions.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Perform quality inspections and complete production paperwork.
- Interpret maintenance and operational manuals.
- Perform inbound inspections and various installation tasks.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Knowledge of HAZCOM, equipment specifications, and safety procedures.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Understanding of measurements and basic math.
