Job Description
Mid-level welding/fabrication position, Watertown, Wisconsin
• Read and comprehend blueprints.
• Weld GMAW in all position (occasionally stainless).
• Operate machinery to assist in the production process (break press and shear).
• Assemble materials and equipment as required.
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines.
• Transport raw materials from one place to another
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met. • Conduct inspection and quality control of products.
• Assist in lifting, carrying, and moving loads over 50 Lbs. as required.
Job Qualifications
• Experience in GMAW
• 2 years or more experience in a manufacturing welding setting preferred
• Experience with blueprints
• Experience in metal fabrication preferred
• Familiar with production equipment and machinery
• Sharp attention to detail in identifying defects and making quality products
• Self-driven and hardworking
• Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
