‍Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects through the planning, implementation, and verification phases of development and support of robotic automation systems.

Engage in all phases of product development, including concept, design, release, fabrication, assembly, test and verification, and service support.

Participate in designs that are fast-tracked to meet customer requirements.

Demonstrate technical leadership by working to ensure that designs are reliable and meet or exceed customer specifications.

Provide technical leadership for supplier and subcontractor performance.

Propose and manage the design of product improvements and technology updates.

Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and design reviews.

Provide technical leadership in discussions and negotiations with customers.

Ensure the timely creation and review of all product specifications to assure customer, state, federal and international regulations are satisfied.

Some travel required.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Completes special projects and other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill

Preferred Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree; or related experience, or a combination of education and experience

Strong working knowledge of both 2D and 3D CAD software

Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills

Demonstrated technical leadership experience preferred

Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment required

Experience in the design of mechanical systems is desired
