Assembler - 1st Shift ahh
Duties and responsibilities:
Read work orders and manufacturing standards; follow production drawings and assembly instructions; Receive verbal instructions regarding the duties to be performed.
Assembly, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finishing products using hand and power tools.
Place, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly, and connect cables, tubes, and wires.
Connect component cables conducted to printed circuits or paths and connect cables between individual component cables and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points.
Perform in-process testing and inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Inspect the assemblies/subassemblies for proper quality before proceeding to the next step in the procedure.
Detect and report defective materials to the Supervisor and perform any adjustments and repairs as necessary. Perform jobs on rejected units.
Organize parts and monitor stock levels. o Keep the work area clean and organized and operate carefully and safely.
Complete any special projects as needed. It can be assigned to other areas of Operations, depending on business or customer requirements.
Willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications and educational requirements:
Knowledge with tools. In addition, certaincommercial tools are provided.
2 years of mechanical experience.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, assembly, operation and maintenance instructions, drawings, technical drawings and procedure manuals.
Able to work in a quality production environment; maintain a clean workstation, multitask, meet production deadlines, be organized, detail-oriented, dedicated, problem-solving and teamwork.
Safety and Training Responsibilities:
Use safety devices, PPE, and other tools to maintain a safe environment.
Watch for health and safety signs, signs, warning signs, and written instructions.
Follow safe practices: OSHA, SDS, PPE.
Work in compliance with all administrative, health and safety policies and safety procedures as per legislative requirements.
Actively participate in orientation programs and continuous training by the organization.
Inform the Supervisor of any actual or potential hazards, practices and/or safety/health conditions . Report all accidents,incidents or near misses to the Supervisor as well.
Perform daily inspections of the work area.
