Responsibilities: (What should be accomplished)

o Is responsible for machining components to the required tolerances and completion dates.

o Is responsible for continuously improving CNC programs to maximize machine efficiency.

o Is responsible for maintaining CNC equipment by troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions or engaging appropriate personnel as needed.

o Is responsible to work with coworkers as a team player

o Demonstrates safe work habits

o Maintains a clean and organized work area using 55 principles

The incumbent of this position will be deemed to be meeting or exceeding performance standards when the following happens.

Can operate different tools, and run machines properly

Keeps a clean work area and is reliable

Education & Experience:

Minimum level of education/training required: This position requires successful completion of 4 years of high school, or equivalent plus two-year technical degree in CNC or Tool and Die Making.

Minimum experience required: This position requires 1-3 years of experience operating CNC equipment.

Computer proficient, advanced math, ability to read technical drawings, and ability to communicate with others required.
