CNC Lathe or Mills Setup 2nd shift, schedule 3p – 1a, Monday – Thursday, rate of pay $22 – 30/hr depending on experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools and/or CNC machining equipment to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are proved and set ups are made by others. These operations employ recognized tooling and procedures where tolerances are close but not difficult to maintain
Check work at specified points, use measuring instruments to inspect work
Recognize and report machine malfunctions, tooling difficulties, etc.
Under supervision, work procedures and products are subject to check and inspection
General knowledge of tooling applications, blueprint reading, shop practices, basic training on numerically controlled machine tools or CNC machining equipment are a plus, but not required
Clean and maintain work area, machines and tools
Maintain the highest level of quality
Must communicate changes accurately and effectively
Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma
Must be able to walk or stand on concrete for up to 4 hours at a time.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
