Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of new and existing contracts
- Contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution
- Support for sales rep agreements and independent contractor agreements
- Provides liaison support with OEM partners to ensure compliancy to customer contractual flow down requirements
- Acting as an information source on organization policies and procedures pertaining to legal/contract requirements
- Ensuring compliance with organization policies, procedures, planning, and billing systems
- Negotiating terms with a supplier and drawing up an agreement that satisfies all stakeholders
- Tracking accounts and Managing relationships with other agencies
- Dealing directly with customers on behalf of the organization
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of contract management experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, prelaw, law or a related field
• Relevant training and/or certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager or other
• A strong grasp of legal terms and conditions including up to date knowledge of current laws and international rules
• Strong understanding of Federal Procurement Regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and Supplier Clauses
• An understanding of the AS9120, ISO9001:2015 standards
• Detail-minded, self-starter with the ability to work with others
• Excellent organizational skills
• Decision-making and problem-solving abilities essential
• Excellent analytical and negotiating skills a must
