Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborates with senior leadership to align human resource goals with organization's goals, and executes strategy related to recruiting, hiring, retention, training and development.
· Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring the right candidates and management of human capital.
· Oversees, plans, develops, and implements human resource policies, procedures, and employee surveys.
· Works closely with the Human Resource Manager and staff on the administration of human resource activities including compensation, benefits, employee relations, disciplinary matters and disputes, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
· Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Oversees daily operations of the human resources department and manages the staffing for the department.
· Develops and implements departmental budget.
· Tracks human resource metrics to analyze the performance of organizational goals and departmental initiatives.
· Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
· Performs other duties as required by the organization.

Education and Experience:
· A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other human-resources-related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.
· A minimum of ten years of experience in human resources management is required.
