Electrical Production Tech ajc
This is a temp positions lasting 90 days.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
Primary Job Functions
· Panel shop team oversight for quality standards, organization, build standards, technician recruitment, and training
· Production assistance for machine wiring to ensure quality and safety
· Prototype development with electrical design support
· Lead troubleshooting technician for projects on the floor
· Lead testing/run-off technician
· Program download oversight for production projects
· Provide field support for customers, mainly focused on the following tasks
General electrical diagnosis and repair often interfacing with fluid power components and circuits o PLC and HMI Programming troubleshooting o VFD and Servo startup and tuning o Fieldbus configuration and troubleshooting Secondary Job Functions
· Project review with business development team for scope development and quoting assistance
· Assist with electrical schematic and system design standardization efforts, focused on increased serviceability in the field
· Regular training from suppliers is required to maintain current product knowledge
· Work directly with suppliers’ support personnel to address customer issues
· Other responsibilities and/or projects as assigned by management
Work Environment:
Shared Office Environment § Shop environment § On-site service at client facilities as needed for service calls
Requirements:
Education: AAS-EET (or related degree from accredited university)
Qualifications:
· 5+ years experience in industrial or mobile controls environment.
· Industrial PLC programming/troubleshooting experience
· Strong knowledge of electrical symbols, schematics, circuits.
· Knowledge of IEC-61131-3 programming languages (Function Block, Ladder, Structured Text, CFC, SFC)
· Ability to modify Operator Interface design · Industrial networking integration/troubleshooting. Use of network analyzing tools for testing. (CAN, Ethernet, etc)
· Familiarity with fluid power symbols, schematics, and circuits. · Knowledge of AutoCad--Electrical
