Facility Maintenace Tech ahh
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical systems.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, or equipment failures, ensuring minimal disruption to facility operations.
· Operate and maintain various tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
· Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
· Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate and execute facility improvement projects.
· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
· Assist in the identification and procurement of necessary supplies and materials for maintenance activities.
· Stay informed about industry best practices, technological advancements, and relevant regulations to enhance the efficiency of maintenance operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
· Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a facility or industrial setting.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols.
· Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
