Field Services Supervisor ahh

Looking for self-motivated candidates.  They manage a team of 4 or more people.

-Prefers candidates that live within commuting distance of Port Washington in the event there is no travel they would like them to come to shop to work

- Travels throughout the United States

-Most assignments are 1-3 weeks

-Company likes employees’ home for the weekends, if employee would rather work weekends, they get additional days off during the week if they want

-Overtime Available

-Paid Doorstep to Doorstep

-Company holds the vehicle insurance (good driving record needed)

-Trip arrangements done by employee

-Common sense per diem when traveling

-For expenses is there a company provided Credit Card

-Reimbursements paid a week later

-Needs some Electrical experience

- MIG and Stick welding required

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Complete mechanical erection of all equipment in batching and mixing plant.

• Verify equipment on site and staged.

• Verify footings located properly.

• Complete daily reports and distribute to Management.

• Conduct planning and safety meetings with direct reports.

• Communicate with management delays, issues and requests for change orders.

• Communicate with customers as needed.

• Ensure the safety of the crew members and job site.

• Assist with plant start-up and trouble shooting.

• Perform all duties assigned by the Field Services Manager

SKILLS:

• Excellent construction skills and ability to resolve challenges.

• Ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings and foundation drawings..

• Ability to measure elevations with the use of a transit.

• Must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands.

• Ability to work independently as well as supervise crew members.

• Ability to adapt to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.

• Ability to prioritize and complete work on time and on budget with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• Ability to use basic Math skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements, fractions.

• Ability to operate equipment such as telescoping forklift, aerial lift, etc.

• Ability to use basic construction tools including hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, portable

welder, cutting torch, rigging chains and straps, come-alongs, ladders, etc.

• Ability to work safely and ensure crew members adhere to all safety rules, policies and

regulations.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Jobsite, mostly outdoors

Extensive Travel required (80-90%); duration dependent on

project, 1-3 weeks at a time typical.

Non-union.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Supervised by: Field Services Manager

• Type of Supervision received: Limited

• Supervises (# of incumbents and job titles): 4 or more Field Installers and or contracted personnel.

• Other contacts: Interact with crew members, customers, other trades persons, engineering, and

safety on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Supervisory experience.

• Experience in commercial and industrial projects.

• Experience with measuring elevations and interpreting engineered drawings.

• Valid driver’s License.

DESIRED:

• Experience working in construction or related field

• Knowledge of engineering and construction principles and methods.

• Currently posses a valid US passport or able to obtain one.
