Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift gea

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate degree or certification preferred.

· 5 to 8 years of experience in Maintenance in an industrial manufacturing enterprise.

· Demonstrated basic Lean knowledge and results required with certification preferred.

· Prior experience in low volume high mix industrial business required. Metal fabrication and machining preferred.

· Strong electrical mechanical maintenance hands-on experience required.

· Strong self-starter with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

· Hands on internal customer centric management approach.

· Ability to work with all levels of the organization from direct labor to ownership.

· Prior experience in implementing/ maintaining Total Preventative Maintenance plan.

· Strong team mate mentality with results focused approach.

CERTIFICATIONS:

· Lean Six Sigma preferred.

· Professional certifications preferred, i.e. Millwright/Electrical.

First Year Deliverables:

· Assist in the development of and execution of a plan to reduce unplanned downtime for key equipment.

· Assist in the development of and the early-stage roll-out of a Total Preventative Maintenance program for all equipment and facilities that includes both Level 1 and 2 operations.

· Support the finalization of a 3-year Capital Equipment upgrade plan for both equipment and facilities.

· Develop 24-month plan to address Safety and Environmental audit findings.

· Support transfer of fixed assets from Cincinnati facility to Wisonsin sites as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment. Work is performed in a factory floor environment. Job tasks included hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs as well as systems work to optimize assets uptime. Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone and video conferencing.
