Metal Fabricator/Welder gea

AS A METAL FABRICATOR/WELDER, YOU WILL WORK AS A TEAM DOING THE FOLLOWING:

***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE READING BLUEPRINTS AND LAYOUTS.

Determine the appropriate welding equipment and methods.

Operate appropriate tools and machines (welders, cutters, shear, form, press break, plasma cutter, track torch and measuring tools, etc.).

Must be able to cut, shape and form material.

Utilize, read and comprehend blueprints and layouts.

Weld product components, sub assemblies or units in accordance to company quality standards.

Visual inspection of final product for flaws.

Perform general clean up and keep area orderly.

Perform related material handling duties as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS include the following:

High School Diploma or GED.

Welding technical diploma.

Minimum of six (6) months welding experience.

Prior experience in manufacturing industry or similar.

Ability to obtain welding certification.

Forklift Operator's Certification a plus.
