Payroll HR jnf
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, proper documentation, and execute, full compliance with HSE & HR policies and procedures in the company according to legal guidelines compliance with State, Federal and Safety Laws.
o OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, Workers Comp., ADA, DOT, & DNR.
· Perform and manage:
o Employee Safety Program, Company Fleet, Employee Training, Safety Committee, Light Duty program and action plans.
o Direct meetings, reports, and ensure relationships with parent company and other governing groups are kept. (insurance, contractors, vendors)
o Worker compensation claims, employee incidents, and conduct security and employee safety and employee investigations, employee conflict, and complaints and recommend proper resolutions.
o Guides and coordinates employee recruitment process, onboarding, changes, transfers, and terminations.
o Administration of employee benefits. Maintain & monitor payroll, employee handbooks, job descriptions, employee evaluations, personnel records and attendance.
o Respond to inquiries, and provide guidance, support and solutions to employees and managers in line with policy & procedures.
o Supervise HR, Payroll, and Safety Staff.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Accurately process end-to-end multi-state payroll for our hourly, salaried, and temporary employees on bi-weekly basis - Payroll Processing of new hires, rehires and terminations. Auditing/Providing Payroll Funding information and reports to accounting for ACH and Positive pay for live, manual, and bonus checks. Process changes in earnings or deductions, garnishments, child support, levies, employment & un-employment verifications.
· Provide reports to Field Service Manager on FS staff, missing information and edits as well as ensuring proper taxation and calculations of hours for payroll.
· Payroll worksheet audits between payroll, TC+ and attendance records. Resolves payroll and attendance issues in a prompt manner.
· Ensure temp employee hours are accurate and paid accordingly.
· HRIS Management of TC+/Time and Attendance system and UKG/Payroll systems configurations as needed.
· 401K Processing (payroll contributions, hours, and gross wages). Entry of New Hires, Rehires and Termed employees. Entries of new deferral employee loans (Starts/Stops), making changes in payroll system as necessary. 401K compliance & audit(s)
· Review Payroll Invoices from Payroll Vendor
· Review invoices from payroll vendor as well as review and process the deduction/s for Employee Tool Accounts, safety shoes/glasses/hard hats along with uniform deductions.
· Complete remote billing information and forward to accounting timely.
· Set up and maintain State, Unemployment, Workers Comp, Local tax Registrations in new and existing accounts in all necessary states.
· Complete Remote Billing information and provide to accounting.

· Audits &/or reporting; vacation, insurance, tax, 941’s, FSA, attendance, EEOC data
· Completing Company Surveys
Backup on phones, visitors, punch reports, attendance, questions/concerns in prompt matter etc.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Three (3) years’ experience preferred in Payroll & HR experience preferred.
· Requires excellent computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
· Possess strong verbal and written communications skills. Problem-solving abilities and comfortable working in a team environment; Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful interacting with co-workers, managers and others in a professional and courteous manner. Initiative-taking and have a good attitude.
· Demonstrates strong planning and organization skills with attention to detail and hands on ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Able to work independently.
