Responsibilities for Production Manager

Key Needs:

**Must Structural Steel and Welding/Fabrication background

Willing to work between locations

Import projects into internal computer software Tekla EPM and prepare it for shop work.

Comprehension of and ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, etc. Identify any issues that may affect the overall outcome of the project prior to introducing it to the shop.

Keeps abreast of current lead times with inventory vendors and assists with securing materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.

Prepare the work and delivery schedules and update as necessary to reflect current project status.

Work directly with Vice President of Manufacturing, Project Leads, Project Managers, and site to ensure that production timelines and needs are met.

Monitoring project timelines and deadlines accommodating updates and changes to project schedules to assure on time delivery.

Completes project close out documents.

Qualifications for Production Manager

Associate degree in construction, project management or a field related industry preferred.

Strong decision-making skills and results driven.

Advanced computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Suite with a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Managing email enquiries, processing, and transferring data.

Experience with Tekla EPM a plus.

Experience with scheduling day-to-day work and deliveries.

Steel Fabrication Background.

Strong organizational skills and great at problem-solving.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Organizing and maintaining records, files, and databases.

Committed to producing accurate and complete work.
