Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform 1st Article check, and daily spot checking of parts to conform to customer requirements
• Produce Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) on new products
• Perform daily review of rejects and investigate root cause; Prepare Corrective Action Reports and Preventative Action Reports
• Facilitate investigations regarding Customer complaints and internal failures
• Provide support to the Customer to resolve Quality issues; Work closely with departments to resolve quality issues
• Report, input, and effectively analyze quality data from all shifts
• Audit effectiveness of quality improvement activities and support any updates to plan
• Facilitate continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain Quality equipment (gages, computers, etc.). Prepare / set up gauges for next shifts.
• Help foster a top-quality environment to promote continuous improvement

JOB DESCRIPTION
Education and/or Experience
• BS or Associates degree or a minimum 3 years related experience. Advanced knowledge in computer software for Windows. Ability to use gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Understand and communicate basic quality concepts and thought processes to customers and team members.
• ISO experience a plus
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and ISO and ASME Codes. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with managers, vendors, customers, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Physical Demands
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move reports, files, office supplies, etc. weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
• Light to moderate physical activity.
