As our 2nd shift Quality Technician, you will:

1. Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits.

2. Troubleshoot print and bill of materials problems.

3. Recommend methods of assembly, welding, and production.

4. Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.

5. Isolate and disposition non-conforming product.

6. Utilize various measurement tools including but not limited to Virtek Scanner, ROMER Articulating Arm CMM, Protractors, Height Gages, Calipers, and Micrometers.

7. Test finished products for paint quality, weld quality, dimensions, fit, and appearance.

8. Route product for re-work.

9. Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.

10. Analyze inspection results and assist in addressing and resolving production problems causing deviations from existing standards.

11. Communicate with plant supervision noted deviations of tolerances and quality.

12. Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

13. Creation and submission of PPAP documentation.

14. Make recommendations regarding safe working methods.

15. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.

16. Comply with all safety procedures and regulations.

Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm.
