Receiving Lead snn

Responsibilities:

· Check and verify product according to the packing slips

· Log, Verify and receive Ups packages

· Documents any missing or damage product at delivery

· Unloads inbound shipments

· Timely and accurate entry of receipts into the ERP system

· Help Maintain MSDS Standards

· Communicate with Purchasing regarding any missing documentation from deliveries

· Coordinates with Purchasing on materials needed in production.

· Generate purchasing requisitions as needed

· Label and store product while utilizing the FIFO process

· Puts items away in the warehouse and documents quantity and location of inventory in the inventory management system.

· Assist shipping when needed

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma with 2 years consecutive experience in Shipping & Receiving.

· Successful completion of forklift driver certification per company policy.

· Experience in a lead position.

· Good Communication and Motivational Skills.

· Demonstrated ability in basic mathematical computations required to complete shipping documents.

· Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds from ground level to chest height, push/pull up to 100 pounds.

· Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.

· Demonstrated analytical/problem-solving skills.

· Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficient.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen.

Working Conditions:

· Position is primarily in our manufacturing plant.
