Using Great Plains ERP, it's a sit down forklift

Qualifications:

Education And/or Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be certified to operate Forklifts

Essential duties and responsibilities and other duties that may be assigned:

Ability to complete a variety of tasks simultaneously and effectively. Ability to pay close attention to detail. To be a team player with good interpersonal skills. Aggressive enough to ask for what's needed to accomplish your responsibilities in supporting the Shipping departments objectives.

Knowledge of Walco's Quality and Environmental System by demonstrating and understanding Addev Walco's Problem Solving Process, Objectives and the purpose of measuring objectives, Level 111

requirements, Procedure and Process Revisions, The Requirements and Specifications required by TS16949 and the Requirements and Specifications of ISO 14001

To have adequate training to take physical inventory of all raw materials, inspect inventory for visual damage, serve as a material handler.

Ability to speak clearly and informatively, participate in meetings and write clearly

Ability to participate in building a positive team spirit

Unloading of incoming freight via truck, ups, fedex etc.

Follow processes to ensure accuracy

Correspond with appropriate personnel to rectify damages and shortages through communication with appropriate personnel

Put incoming products into inventory

Apply Shipping Labels on Packed Cartons And or Pallets

Packages/Labels materials as per customer requirements

Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet customer requirements

Ability to operate Lift Truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments

Ensures that all work performed is consistent with all applicable Addev Walco Procedures and Policies

Contacts freight carriers via telephone, email, etc.

Pull and stage raw material and overrun material to fulfill orders for Production by checking Production Board throughout day

Return unused raw material to inventory

Do raw material/overrun material/finished goods inventory when needed

Put away finished goods and overrun material out of Final Inspection

Competency:

Member of the safety commitee

Language skills : ability to communicate with other departments, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
