Supply Chain Lead - Solutions ajc

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop, build, and manage relationships with suppliers in the direct and indirect procurement space.

· Determine best sourcing and execute purchase orders to fulfill project needs.

· Monitor project milestones, hold supplier progress meetings, and expedite, as necessary.

· Hold suppliers and internal stakeholders accountable to project deliverables.

· Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.

· Maintain data integrity for procurement activities.

· Analyze demand and recommend strategic purchases when beneficial.

· Recommend and lead improvements to optimize the overall process and drive greater efficiency.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates would have/be:

· Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years related experience purchasing technical products

· Demonstrated experience negotiating difficult issues while maintaining relationships.

· Proactively identifies and mitigates risks.

· Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project or SmartSheet, and ERP

· Analytical mind with business acumen

· Detail-oriented and organized

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Aviation and/or Aerospace Industry knowledge is preferred.
