DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Machine Operator Level 1:
Consistently run and meet production rates as identified on production routing or as instructed by a supervisor
Learn the basic methods of inspection and be able to use basic inspection equipment
Learn the basic machine operation skills of the assigned department
Perform duties in a manner which is consistent with the production of a quality product
Ability to use basic calculator
Machine operator Level 2:
Ability to use inspection equipment including but not limited to Dial Caliper, 0-1” mic. , 1-2” mic 2-3” mic. Depth set mic set at 0-6”
Ability to change dies and supports
Have the appropriate and necessary tools on site to perform assigned job duties
Ability to read blueprints at a level which is necessary for inspection procedures
Machine Operator Level 3 (Set-up Personnel):
Set up all machines within assigned department
Read all blueprints
Ability to train employees within department in operating the departments machines
Operate and maintain all inspections equipment specific to the department
Perform general maintenance on all department machines
Ability to perform all duties of a level 2 machine operator

Understanding of blueprints and routers.
Excellent communication and basic math skills.
