Warehouse Manager ark
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Management of warehouse personnel and daily warehouse activities including:
a. Locating, picking, checking, staging, assembling, packaging, labeling, palletizing and preparing customer orders for shipment
b. Prioritization of daily warehouse traffic
c. Preparing and routing domestic and international shipments
d. Receiving all incoming materials
e. Performing quality inspection upon receipt of material
f. Checking condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, noting discrepancies
g. Determining method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment. Experience with UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL a plus
h. Scanning, digitizing, and attaching related documents to inventory control management system
i. Running daily metrics and projections to evaluate and plan the load.
2. Act as point of contact for other departments such as Sales and Purchasing.
3. Material handling duties as directed
4. Cycle counting and matching the physical inventory with the inventory data in the system
5. Manage workload of warehouse employees
6. Standardization of work procedures for receiving and shipping processes and documentation of exception management for activities required per customer or vendor, such as shipping documents, certs, and paperwork.
7. Develop and prepare monthly metrics to be submitted to the Director of Trade Compliance & Logistics to evaluate the department’s load and identify Continuous Improvement needs.
Requirements:
1. Basic computer knowledge
2. Positive attitude and attention to detail
3. Ability to use a forklift
4. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
5. Ability to manage available resources
6. Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years related experience preferred
7. Training in OSHA regulations preferred
8. Experience and training in handling, storing, transport, use, and disposal of Dangerous goods or Hazardous Material preferred
9. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

• Shipping (Shipping Inspection Only Approval on Inspection Roster)
• Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations and Standard Terminology.
• 90 Day Probation OJT (Includes: Return Material Authorization (RMA), Warehouse Transfers, Parts and Warehousing)
• Forklift certification
• Hazmat Training (Inspection Only approval on Inspection Roster.
