Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to

time.

1. Transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklift trucks or hand pallet trucks while following safe

operating procedures.

2. Accurately record incoming shipments and outgoing shipments using appropriate forms and established department and company processes and

procedures.

3. Enter written words and numbers in a neat and legible manner.

4. Maintain inventory system for storing and verifying plastic material, corrugated boxes, finished goods and other supplies within the warehouse areas.

5. Maintain neat and orderly storage areas on metal racking and designated floor space.

6. Place materials in storage and production areas in a manner as to not block or interfere with isles, exits, or walkways.

7. Assist with taking inventories of material, equipment and supplies in warehouse areas as directed by the Warehouse Leadperson.

8. Maintain clean work and storage areas and follow good housekeeping procedures.

9. Comply with all occupational and food safety policies and work rules, and maintain forklift truck certification.

Job Specifications and Requirements

1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

2. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees.

3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

4. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions communicated in written, oral, or diagram form.

5. Ability to achieve or maintain forklift truck operating certification.

6. Requires the ability to operate various tools and equipment to include a computer, hand pallet truck and various small hand tools.

7. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
